Thank you Andrew Sachs who will be remembered for so much, but is truly immortalised by his role as Manuel in Fawlty Towers.

Hi IE. You beat me to it. Sadly most of the official obits are concentrating on his TV work. Hopefully, R4X will use the occasion to reprise many of his starring roles. A quick search of \"Sachs\" brings up many of his appearances:
Tintin, Father Brown, Sherlock Holmes, Dixon of Dock Green, The Right Time and (of course) the voiceless \'play what he wrote\' and acted in - Revenge.

It was thanks to your rave reviews that I heard that amazing play Ive! I am indebted.

I was so sorry to hear about this. I\'ve really enjoyed his work, both television and radio (especially his Watson!). He seemed to be a very kind and gentle man. RIP :(
