It\'s possible that Trump\'s opposers will get more laughs from his presidency than from Obama\'s.

The Beiden things have been circulating for awhile. Love the one where Obama says he\'ll take him for ice cream.

This one is full of YES!!  Thank God for the Brits! B)-
(Bad language warning)

John Oliver on President-Elect Trump

And for Truthyness....

Stephen Colbert.....

What a gift the Colberrrrrr clip was. Didn\'t know he was back on ... will now tune in religiously if it\'s available this side of pond. Couldn\'t connect to first clip though, unavailable over here. Will try \"other\" approaches.

Today\'s frame of mind :
We are SUNK! ::o

For us Europe side (including UK?) here\'s a link that seems to work for the John Oliver clip:
https://www.theguardian.com/tv-and-radio/2016/nov/14/john-oliver-trump-wins-election-last-week-tonight

As for the \"tattoo it on you bum\" line! It\'s tempting ... really really tempting!

I started to read that piece and when I got to the second sentence, my sword of pedantry leapt into my hand.

The first two sentences are:

\"Democracy in the U.S. is likely to be tested seriously even before President-elect Donald Trump will take the oath of office on Jan. 20, 2017. He could possibly become the first president to be impeached.\"

What about Andrew Johnson (1868) and Bill Clinton (1998)?

Of course, my reaction really had nothing to do with me being a pedant as the author, cunningly anonymised as \"Staff Writer\", is clearly guilty of producing sloppy copy.

Right? Colbert took over The Late Show with David Letterman a year or two ago, so look for The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.  If you get a chance, you should also try and find his election night show he did for Showtime. He did a monologue when it was evident we\'d elected Trump that almost made me cry....then laugh like mad.

I had a nasty pop-up problem on the HNGN link with this browser, I\'ll check it in Firefox.

Yup. They were both impeached, but not removed from office. I don\'t think they can impeach someone for something said/done during an election. I would have thought he\'d have to be a sitting president for impeachment to apply. I honestly don\'t think we have anything in place for this, except the Electoral College, who won\'t do anything any....although, they should, imo.

Nono I was crystal ball gazing J-ru ... looking for a Christmas stocking gift to eclipse all gifts!!! It\'s what he WILL do that will.should provide us with the immensely pleasurable prospect I referred to B)

Thanks for the tips ... and yes I\'m a goof I had picked up his track up to the Late Show ... just didn\'t tune in ... he\'s put on weight, the little dahlin! Luv him to bits ... a keen contestant to my beloved fluffy King who sits by my side ... technically CURED now according to Monday\'s check up with Professor Vet at Ghent University ... the champagne corks are still popping!

Loved the pics of \"TRUMP\" stripped from NY buildings ... shades of Sadam Hussein there I\'ll be darned!

We must just sit back and HOPE for now! I NEVAH thought I\'d imagine yearning for Hillary! ::o

Right? I never thought I\'d vote for her! Wish they hadn\'t screwed Bernie out of his nomination. :X

Glad to hear The King is on the mend. :)

Ooops to the HNGN link nastiness! Sorry \'bout that.

His Lordship miaouws gracious thanks. And yes usurping Sanders was ghastly. Contributed my two bits worth to the campaign \"faithless electors\" to stand forward. As much chance a snowballs in hell ... but miracles can happen!

Cheers ..
