Have the BBC\'s .wma feeds gone?
« on: February 20, 2015, 05:53:54 PM »
I\'ve recently tried Beebotron running on Firefox/Linux & although I can see asensible set of programme links, nothing plays.I get errors: \"The specific movie [sic] cold not be found\" and \"Error while reading file with chapters\".

I tried my Win7 PC too and Beebotron didn\'t work their either.

Have the .wma feeds gone?

I think so, I am confused by it all.

This may help explain

It seems some Listen Again stuff is still available, does it mean the Beebotron will sonn be passed its use by date?

I have been very pleased to use it in the past - time flies, it is a long while since I made a donation - has it stayed in credit - should I make a contribution now to keep the funders in funds and perhaps as an acknowledgement of appreciation?

Good questions Tolkny,

Personally I make the odd contribution as a thank you to Rick for all the work he puts in and to show Kronalias, the founder, appreciation for making the place available.

Possibly too in the hope the Beebotron does eventually come up with new solutions to the BBC problem!

That\'s interesting Janaru.

For example, when I click the B link for this programme, I get a \"Service Unavailable\" error.

The Drama page is no longer picking up links. Looks like Thursday was the last day.

You might go to the iPlayer help page and take the survey and tell them that!

I\'m having the same problem, Soundgeek. I\'ve been relegated to iPlayer and I\'m not a happy camper.
