Firefox question.

I\'m not crazy about this browser, but there are times I have to use it. For those who are fans, how to you get the spell check to work?

I mouse over the word (or maybe \"select\" is clearer) and then right click on selected word : a pop up window with a suggestion should appear together with various setting options. Make sure spell check is ticked in your settings list. To do this same system, select word, a pop up window appears, scroll down and tick \"check spelling\".

Oh, so it doesn\'t automatically spell check? I know I do have the box checked for that.

Go to Preferences > Advanced > Browsing > Select the checkbox, \'Check my spelling as I type\'

That should generate the red squiggles under misspelt words. To correct, right-click as Truthy describes.

Thanks so much, Rick! It\'s certainly undiscovered country for me. Nothing is where it I think it should be.

#-o Ahhh! I was presuming auto spell check would be activated (good thing we\'ve got a dependable techie to set up our softwares, tho one ends up taking such details for granted)

I was too, Tru. That\'s why I was just tippy-typing away....until I saw something I KNEW I\'d spelled wrong.

Yeah but half the time spelling slip ups are just typos! I know with my bunch of carrots for fingers spelling goes all over the place.
