The stitches I had after surgery were of the type which dried up and fell off months later.  Oddly enough the scar from that is just a pink line, whereas the scar left where the shoulder port was put in is still red.

....perhaps Mods or Admin might think about repeating the rule for the benefit of newcomers

It\'s probably a good idea, but I\'m just dealing with flu at the moment and no way could I wrap my brain around that just now. I\'ll try and mention it to the powers that be when I feel human again.

Yeah, it\'s been stormy here. Not normal for this time of year. You too?

The same - and a lot more rain than usual for the time of year.  Great for the water table etc. but disappointing for the tourists , bless their little cotton socks, and not so good for me since I have damp penetration works scheduled so that the new ceilign can dry out during the long hot summer and it has already been postponed once because of heavy rain!

And wind and rain yesterday has deposited a brownish red dust (from the Sahara?) over everything.

And muggy when the sun does come out, which probably explains the flu bugs.

With fear and trepidation, I\'ve just wandered down to the paper shop, to pay for the papers since I came out of hospital. I had to leave it until this afternoon, when the clouds came over, because it was too hot this morning. Hopefully, we\'ll get some rain this evening for the benefit of the gardens.

Yeah, I heard you had pinched our weather, Ivor!  Makes you think there must really be something in these climate change theories doesnt it?
