Penultimate Copperfield
« on: January 15, 2009, 10:56:00 AM »
Yippeeeeeeeeeeeeee 5 minutes to go before more immersion into super fine world of Dickens.  Anyone else glorying in this radio adaptation of David Copperfield. Heep is excessively ghastly, can\'t seem to find the actor\'s name before posting this...

... till later then.

What can I say? I\'ve spent an hour or more trying to find out for you and the nearest that I got was a possibility of Phil Daniels. You\'ve only been and gone and done it. As I wasn\'t listening to the programme, I thought that I would trawl Google for you. Not only do I take my hat off to you, I would like to present you with

Erm, two things.

1. I would expect a lady like you to recognise an Oscar.
2. I spent ages looking on RadioListings, without any joy. I did see the cast list that you have used, but I\'m not sure that it refers to the current production. It doesn\'t mention Sheila Hancock or Miriam Margolyes. Does the current one have Robert Glenister appearing as Charles Dickens?

Did you like the way that I included a link so that you can check up on me?

I used the search tool at the site the first reference to show and Bingo! The actors names told me it was the right version (there  have, understandably, been undreds of em)

PS: gratified to note you can tell a lady!

Couldn\'t for the life of me say how I found it. It was the first link that appeared in my browser as I typed in RadioListings !!!!(:D

I\'m loving this one too, though I have to play serious catch-up.
