Hi IE and Jim. Seasons Greetings to you and everyone in the Beebotron family.

Like you I am missing Jan...

... and Kronalias' Wales-feed. I relied on that for my weather forecast, as all our local rain flows over from the Irish sea.

Announcements / Re: Farewell JANARU

Dear All

I've just caught up with this sad news. Of late, the messages have not been inciting me to reply. Possibly this could be because Jan has not been contributing. Andrew's update of his listings page automatically created an email to me and encouraged me to log in.

Sad and kind thoughts to Jan and her family.

I will continue to log in here, periodically. In a fortnight, I will be going into hospital for a follow-up of one of my earlier minor ops. I'll message when I'm back.

Once again the Goons are up-to-date! Today, while describing the Blizzard of Pevensey Bay, they said that

" ... the snow rose from inches 3 to inches 3 Feet 4".

For the benefit of our American friends, we are getting the winds from Siberia and thence snow - an unheard of occurrence in Britain.

Yesterday, I got the last bag of Hot Cross Buns Lord Sainsbury's emporium since there is a shortage of raisins and sultanas from California after last years fires destroyed all the vines.
