I like it all right. Not beating down the door to get to it, though. I think I'd have to agree it took a long time to tell a story that could have easily been done it two or three episodes. :/

You're way too kind.  :)

By the by, I just twigged onto the fact that The Pale Horse you were telling me about is a new production. Duh. Sorry I didn't get that before. Told ya...I'm a numpty.

I do the absolute same thing. There is soooo much info, it's almost impossible to grab it all in one go. Once you listen a few times it really does make perfect sense, to me anyway.  Besides....what else are ya' gonna listen to? :P

7 I'm just an idiot. :P  I never even got that far. We had talked on the other thread about it, and numpty me didn't bother reading the whole post.

Sorry about that. :/

Don't know if you're into that sort of thing, but they have Colin Thubron on Bookclub talking about In Siberia.

(James Naughtie and a group of readers talk to travel writer Colin Thubron about In Siberia)

Thank you, Andrew, for all your hard work. It's greatly appreciated. :)

Thank you, Tru. I'll check it out. :)

Thank you, Teepee! I'm really excited. :D

And HELLOOOO K!  I was just thinking of sending you an, "I'm alive...are you?" message. Hope all is well.

I also need to send Robert an e-mail and tell him how much I enjoyed the final Pillow Book.  I'm gonna miss that one, terribly. :(

And thank you Jan for the "my dear". Those words always fill parts of me with a gooey type glow.

Always knew you were the crunchy-creme-filled kind.  ;)

I have to listen to Shardlake (and I thought it might be the one, Tallforaduck, after I'd posted) many times before I finally "get" it, but it's usually worth it. The stories are good, but there as a LOT of information being given and I never, ever get it all first time around.

I didn't catch Pale Horse this time, but I have heard it quite a few times. I always enjoy the Christies. And I really wish they'd do more Cadfael.

I'll definitely check out the Sam Cooke. Thanks for that! :)

Listening to the 50 Years of Just a Minute at the moment. :)  Also, saw a couple of Stone episodes....don't know if they are repeats or not....but I'll find out.

I listened to a Book at Bedtime, How to Stop Time, or something like that, which managed to hold my interest. Also, going to give Vital Spark a go.  So I've found a few things. Still, nothing compared to previous years. :(

Thank you for dumbing it down, Ed. Unfortunately, I'm dumber even that that! :P  I'll have my husband look at that and see if  he can walk me through it. I really appreciate you taking the time. :)

I'd love to try this, but my old brain got lost. :(  Maybe I''ll give it another try later on. Thanks so much, Ed. :D
